This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we manage order dispatch, delivery timelines, service areas, and delivery-related guidelines for the Sompurno Pharmacy Mobile App, www.sompurnopharmacy.in, and www.sompurnopharmacy.com.

We aim to provide fast, safe, and reliable medicine delivery across West Bengal.

1. Serviceable Locations

We currently deliver to:

  • Ichapur
  • Shyamnagar
  • Garulia
  • Barrackpore Belt
  • North 24 Parganas
  • Selected areas of Kolkata
  • Expanding gradually across West Bengal

2. Delivery Timings

Delivery Hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday – Sunday)

Delivery depends on pharmacy operating hours, order volume, stock availability, and route conditions. Urgent orders may take additional time during peak hours.

3. Delivery Speed

3.1 Standard Delivery

  • Usually delivered within 2–6 hours (local areas)
  • Same-day delivery for most orders

3.2 Next-Day Delivery

  • For medicines requiring sourcing
  • For orders placed late at night

3.3 Out-of-Area Delivery

  • Timelines vary by pin code
  • Delivery charges may apply

4. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges may vary based on:

  • Distance
  • Order value
  • Urgency
  • Availability of delivery partners

Delivery fee (if applicable) will be shown before placing an order.

5. Delivery Process

Once an order is placed:

  1. Prescription is verified (for Rx medicines)
  2. Stock availability is confirmed
  3. Order is packed securely
  4. Delivery partner (“Sompurno Sathi”) is assigned
  5. You receive a call/WhatsApp message before delivery

You must be available at the delivery address to receive your order.

6. Paid On Delivery (POD/COD) Policy

For POD orders:

  • Please keep the exact cash amount ready
  • Delivery partner will hand over the invoice and medicines
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

Note: Delivery partners are not allowed to give credit or partial payment.

7. Delivery Attempts

If delivery fails due to wrong address, no response, door locked, customer refusal, or phone unreachable, we will attempt one redelivery. Re-delivery charges may apply based on distance.

8. Delivery of Prescription Medicines

For prescription-only medicines:

  • Customer must provide a valid prescription
  • Delivery partner may request the original prescription
  • Medicines will not be handed over without verification

We follow pharmacy compliance and safety guidelines.

9. Damaged, Wrong, or Missing Items

If you receive a wrong item, damaged item, expired medicine, or missing product:

We will arrange a replacement or refund (as per Refund Policy). Image/video proof is required for verification.

10. Non-Deliverable Items

We may cancel or refuse delivery for banned medicines, Schedule X or highly controlled substances, fake prescriptions, or unsafe order conditions. A notification will be provided in such cases.

11. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate address and contact details
  • Answer phone calls/WhatsApp during delivery
  • Collect medicines personally or through an authorized person
  • Provide prescription when required
  • Pay the correct amount for POD orders

12. Liability Disclaimer

Sompurno Pharmacy is not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, festivals, strikes, incorrect addresses, or customer unavailability. Our liability is limited to the value of the order.
